Mahmood’s art and philosophy has been the subject of many filmmakers. In the Early 2000s, Independent Filmmaker Tricia Anderson Rosental took her film, Repair Man, to Sundance featuring Mahmood as one of two main storylines. The film traveled around to many different film festivals, attracting viewers to come and visit the garage where the spiritual experience can be had on multiple dimensions. Along with film documentation of Mahmood’s work, there have been many articles written in local and national news sources, including The Boston Globe and Wired.
