About The Lighter
The Lighter is a movement of Inter and Inner Faith established in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The Lighter believes in the unification of the world’s major religions,Judaism, Christianity and Islam, for the Security, Peace and Prosperity of the World and Humanity. The Universal Focal Point of the Lighters is the North Star. When we look up and meditate on the above, we open our inner realm, allowing us to journey within to meet The God Within. Through unification and inner connection, the spiritual path of humanity is awakened to The Lighter experience.
The Holy Book of Light
A guide for peace in the world between people with the belief in Above; to unite all of humanity with love and care between them.
The Old Testament and New Testament bound together with the Koran to form The Holy Book of Light. Twelve editions have been published. One was given to the Library of Qaanaaq in Greenland at the top of the world. One was given to the United States Library of Congress. One was given to the library of the Vatican. One was given to the National Library of Saudi Arabia. One was given to the National Library of Egypt. One was given to the National Library of Israel. One was given to the National Library of Persia. One was given to my first daughter, Siedeh. One was given to my second daughter, Hamideh. One was given to my son, Ali. One was given to my third daughter, Amireh. And the last one of twelve went to my wife, Marrianne.
In 2010, Mahmood began a pilgrimage of unity, beginning with visiting Ground Zero in New York City. There he read from the Holy Book of Light and raised The Flag of Mercy. This pilgrimage took Mahmood across the United States and Internationally, traveling to Philadelphia, Washington DC, Florida, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Vatican City, Japan, San Francisco, Nova Scotia and Sydney, Australia. Each time he read from the Holy Book of Light as he prayed for Peace, Humanity and Security.
The Flag of Mercy
The mission of The Flag of Mercy is to educate people about peace, humanity, and security, in order to open the seventh gate, the Gate of Mercy in Jerusalem. By bringing the act of compassionate forgiveness into one’s life, one creates the ability to build peace, humanity, and security through family, community and around the world, nation to nation. The world, as one body, one spirit.
The Flag of Mercy is black, which is representative of the absorbance of all the colors. Within black, all colors are equal in visibility. The green ring on the flag represents the Northern Lights, the Aurora Borealis. The green ring is a symbol of the agreement between mankind and God for the continuation of all life. The green hand grasping the ring is the hand of God representing the power of God in holding the unity of the world. The pole that holds the flag has seven pieces, made of wood, connected together to form one piece. The one hundred and two names of God, including the greatest name, are written on these seven pieces. On the top of the flag pole is a metal hand with seven fingers which represents the seventh day of creation. The hand with seven fingers, representing the right and the left together in the divine vision, is marked with the third eye in the center of the palm and within the center of the eye the letter “Au.” The letter “Au” is the letter that comes before Alef. It is the sound frequency uttered at the creation of the Universe as it moved into a balanced form.
The Flag of Mercy journeyed across the United States in the Summer of 2009 to seven cities in seven different states. In each of these cities, the flag was raised at historical American landmarks. These sites included: Central Park in New York City, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C., the NASA Launch Site on Cape Canaveral, the beach of Lake Michigan in Chicago, the Great Salt Lake in Utah and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. In ceremony, a pray was made, the Sufi horn was blown three times, and the flag was raised three times. The repetition of three represents the three- dimensional depth of life. Since 2009, Mahmood has traveled to seven other countries including Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, Italy and Iran, where the flag was raised in ceremony. Future sites of travel include India, China, Russia, England, and the final destination of this journey is to Jerusalem where he will hold the flag and perform the ceremony for the Golden Gate to open, allowing the sense of security, humanity and peace to pass through. Right now the Golden Gate is closed.
When the seventh gate, the Golden Gate opens, he will enter through it into the city and erect three stone columns to represent the presence of Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and Buddhism within the Holy City. The Holy City will be established as the new zero time zone, the line between the east and the west, and through this declaration, the creation of a new space and time of one body, one spirit. It will create a place where Judaism, Christianity and Islam can exist in peace within a place for the first time in the history of mankind.
The Key of the Holy City, which Mahmood designed and made to symbolize the peace, humanity and security that will echo throughout the world, will be brought to the Holy City. It will remind the Jews, Christians, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Hindus and Buddhists of their shared responsibility to uphold the peace, with respect for each other.
In the Name of the Transcendent Being, the Singular Enduring
Declaration on changing the direction of Qibla for the world’s Muslims at the behest of God
Greetings and salutation to the reader of this epistle. I, Mahmood, son of Abdulhossein Rezaei-Kamalabad, currently residing in the United States of America, declare to those seeking the path of the Transcendent Truth that at His behest I write this epistle regarding shifting the direction of the Qibla toward the original direction which is the source of movement and time. By the Divine command, there have been changes in human history aimed at human spiritual growth and toward peace and love. And this changing of the Qibla is based on the principle of peace and love. The fundament is the North Star [system] that consists of 7 principle stars and 5 auxiliary stars. Sighting the North Star and its angle with relation to the magnetic direction of the earth from the south pole to the north pole and its angle from the center of the earth is 23.5 degrees. Seven stars, called the Ursa Minor and its 5 complementary stars called Cassiopeia create the number 12. This [constellation] is formed of Sur Al-Fatiha which has 7 Ayas and Surah Al-Ikhlas which has 5 Ayas, which together create number 12. The Ismaili sect who only accept 7 Imams, admit merely the first 7 stars and do not obey the other 5, and for this reason their religions is incomplete. The above-mentioned fundament is the original fundament of the world’s Muslims, as it proffers power, unity and oneness to the adherents of the Transcendent Truth, because it is in the direction o the Transcendent Truth. Hence, anyone hoo has faith in the Transcendent Truth wherever she/he is standing on the surface of the earth, aiming to worship and connection with the Essence of unity, will in fact, by means of the direction [of the Transcendent Truth], make the connection. And this origin point is the fundament of “locus substrated by time.” To explicate this issue, the following reasons should be mentioned:
Reason 1: The Prophet’s Ascension [into heaven] from Jerusalem is based on the above fundament. And he [the Prophet] showed in which direction the world’s Qibla lies. “There is no God but God: [la illah ila allah] consists of 12 letters [in Arabic] and “Muhammad is God’s Prophet” {Muhammad rasullah] has 12 letters. The Qibla of the world is located above. Muslims’ orientation is from below to above, as time and movement, which is the same as “There is no God but God,” goads [the Muslims to ascend from the low to the high]. The act of “prostration” [sijda] causes distance from the Transcendent Truth and results in failure. When the Transcendent Truth wills to bring abjection to someone, He brings that person to a low, the opposite direction to Him and opposite to Upholder [Qaim] of time and movement. In fact, this is the orientation of the 12th Imam who dwells in a well. We know that he [the 12th Imam]j, while in the darkness of the well, is aware of the [events of] earth, [albeit] hi is surrounded by matter. His orientation is only direction to above and toward mouth of the well, a luminous point from where he sights the direction of the North Star. The manifestation of the Upholder of Time [Qaim al-Zaman, the Messiah] takes place from the bottom to the top of the well; and he is alive and enduring and by accessing this principle [source of] light from above he is connected to the entire world with peace and love.
Reason 2: Because the relation of the center of a circle and its circumference takes place on the surface, the existence of a third point requires that the point be located above the surface, which is indicative of distance and space which [in turn] indicates the existence of the Transcendent Truth. Because surface does not control distance, surface cannot be indicative of the existence of distance. Matter cannot generate space. On the contrary, it is space that creates matter, as the origin of existence is found in the concept of movement and time. Hence, the point is a distance that controls the circle and its enter. Because of the essential characteristics of a circle, according to the relation between the center of the circle and its circumference, whatever the center states the circumference must obey. Because surface cannot generate movement and time, therefor it is the space that creates movement and time; and the space fundament is located above and not on the surface. In the span of history, some individuals have attempted to create the spatial point [which is also[ the third point, and falsely represent it as the center. This type of thinking causes discord, separation and distancing from the Transcendent Truth. This frame of mind intends to convey the idea that the fundament of movement and time is located on surface, thus controlling the faith of the all individuals and distancing them from the path of the Transcendent Truth, making them its slave.
Reason 3: If the point is located on surface, any group that dominates this point will dominate all the followers of the point and the followers should have to function under the command of the point, this losing their spirit and freedom due to the domination of a point located on surface. The fundament and Qibla were originally emblems of spirit and spiritual freedom and as such cannot be placed on surface. The Qibla of the world is the North Star, Qibla of Muslims; no once and no government can encroach upon it and possess it. The orientation of the North Star is the orientation of spiritual freedom and everything issues from it. The orbit of stars around the North Star is from right to left just as circumambulating the Ka’ba, which is seven times, is observed to be from right to left.
Reason 4: Since Ka’ba is in Saudi Arabia, it cannot be the fundament because it is located in surface. A cube is not deemed to be a perfect figure and only perfect figure is spherical [since] the movement of matter is generated in space. The Saudi king enters the Ka’ba and all the Muslims prostrate themselves before him and as such they worship non-Allah. He holds the key to Ka’ba and it is in his house. Whatever the Saudi king says, Muslims must do. And this is against the path towards the Transcendent Truth. Ka’ba is not visible to Muslims. Only those near it can see it, whereas the North Star, which is the fundament of movement and time as well as visage of truth of 212 will be revealed to all the world’s Muslims and their original Qibla, is visible to all those who reside north of the equator. Most of the world’s population lives north of the equator as is the location of most of the land. South of equator where this star is not visible, man stands on the basis of intention and worships int hat direction. Because all birds are aware of this spaces, they go to north to reproduce; and all the angels are flying in the spirit of Allah. Only by mans of Qibla of the universe can unity, oneness and justice be established on surface. Choosing a fundament that is located on surface is wrong, because being on surface, it is not possible to approach the unity, oneness and justice of the Transcendent Truth.
Reason 5: Reflecting upon the fundament and original Qibla of the universe, [one can say that] man leaves duality and recognizes the distance in his existence as the spirit of Allah, by means of which justice and being is derived from the individual for society and his environs. Recognizing this spatial fundament creates internal unity for the individual that is proved by {the formula] there is no God but God [la illah ila allah] becoming distance. It is lack of knowledge for this point and or the original Qibla that creates the problems and complications in life. Man knows about this temporal, spatial, and motional in his psyche but does not know its direction. When man is exposed to problems related to surface no one and no force can help him, perforce he glances upward, i.e., to the direction of the NorthStar and asks it for help and succor. The third point in the universe and original Qibla upward is based on the following formulation: 12 = 1 + 2 = 3 = 000.
